Project Recipe
Start with a Pool Party cardstock card base. Cut a Coastal Cabana cardstock panel and a Snow Day Scrapbooking Workshop Kit snowflake Designer Series Paper panel. Use glue to add the panels to the card base. Die cut a large Basic White cardstock panel and a (second largest) Pool Party cardstock panel with the Countryside Corners dies. Dry emboss the large die cut Basic White cardstock panel with the So Swirly embossing folder. Stamp the icicles image from the Frozen Edges stamp set across the die cut Pool Party cardstock panel.
Cut a Basic White cardstock panel, die cut it in half with the icicle die from the Frozen Edges dies, stack both pieces so that they line up how you like, and then cut them both together with the second largest die from the Countryside Corners dies. Glue the icicle pieces together being sure that they line up so they retain their shape. Use Foam Adhesive Strips to add the built icicles to the stamped Pool Party cardstock panel. Use glue to add the built Pool Party cardstock panel to the embossed Basic White cardstock panel. Glue the built panels to the card front.
Stamp the penguin from the Snow Wonder stamp set twice on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black ink. Die cut out the penguins with the Snow Wonder dies. Fussy cut out a penguin and a hat from the either the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper or the Snow Day Scrapbooking Workshop Kit Designer Series Paper. Use Stampin' Blends to add color to the penguins and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Use a glue dots to add the fussy cut hat on a stamped penguin. Use glue dots to add two penguins to the left side of the card front. Use a Wobble (I ordered them from Amazon) or a Stampin' Dimensional to add the fussy cut penguin to the card front between the two other penguins.
Die cut a bunch of white Glimmer Specialty paper snowflakes with the Frozen Edges dies (save the inner bits to glue on as snow). Add the snowflakes & inner bits with glue and glue dots to the card front (especially on the built icicles). Stamp the sentiment from the Reindeer Fun stamp set in Pool Party ink on Basic White cardstock. Use paper snips to closely cut the sentiment and snip the sentiment apart. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to add the sentiment banners to the lower right side of the card front next to the penguins.
Add a Basic White cardstock panel to write you message. Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Labels stamp set in Pool Party ink on the inside panel. Add a strip of Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I also added a large white Glimmer Specialty paper snowflake die cut with the One Of A Kind dies to the bottom left of the inside panel overlapping the Designer Series Paper strip.
