T hese cards are quite simple to make but very beautiful. The die cut framelits I used are not Stampin' Up framelits, but some framelits I have had for years. Unfortunately my "Lots of Labels" framelits dies have not arrived yet.
Project Recipe
Base Card in your choice of Color.
Cut 1 - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" - I used Tranquil Tide and Berry Burst Card Stock.
Card Front
- I used the small flower and leaves in Tranquil Tide and Berry Burst in the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper (DSP) on the card fronts. 4" x 5 1/4"
- Take your DSP and put right upper corner of the paper on the 2" mark on your cutter and the left upper corner on the 3 1/2" Mark.
- Cut the DSP diagonally on these marks.
- Use snail glue on the back of the DSP and place it on the card base starting at the top of the card.
- I then took my ribbon and cut enough to add a boarder between the DSP and Card base. (see photo)
Left Inside Card
- I took the bottom portion of the DSP that was cut off put snail glue on the back side and placed it on the inside of the card on the bottom left corner.
Tag on Card Front
- Whisper White Card Stock - 3" x 4 1/4"
- I stamped the Heart from the Bloomin' Love Stamp Set at the bottom of the tag and then stamped the sentiment (either) "Thank You very Much", or "Just a Note" from the Flourishing Phases stamp set.
- Background of Tag is in Tranquil Tide or Berry Burst and is 3 1/4" x 5"
Card Inside - Right side
- Inside of Card - 4" x 5"14"
- I stamped the Sentiment and the little Flower Wreath on the top and bottom of the layer.
- You can also use the little Flower Wreath to stamp the back flap of your envelop!
