Project Recipe
Cut cardstock into the following measurements:
Old Olive
4-1/4" x 11" (scored at 5-1/2" and 2-3/4"
Free As A Bird designer series paper
2-1/2" x 4"
Whisper White
4" x 5-1/4"
2-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Fold the Old Olive cardstock on the score lines, accordian style, as shown.
Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the outside section of the Old Olive card base.
Using Calypso Coral ink, stamp the greeting on the 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Whisper White cardstock.
Ink up the larger flower from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink and stamp on the lower right corner of the Whisper White layer.
Ink up the smaller flower in Calypso Coral ink, and stamp one on each side of the Daffodil Delight flower.
Adhere this layer on the larger section of the Old Olive card base.
Using your die cutting machine, cut out a label using the 2nd largest label from the Stitched Nested Labels dies.
Ink up the 4 bird image from the Fee As A Bird stamp set using Memento Ink, and stamp on the label.
Color the image in using Stampin' Blends markers. I used Light Crumb Cake, Light Calypso Coral, Light Smoky Slate (for the beak), Light Pool Party, Light Petal Pink, and Light Daffodil Delight.
Note: When using alcohol based markers, like the Stampin' Blends, you want to use a water based ink pad like Memento Ink, to prevent the colors from bleeding together.
Place 2-3 Stampin' Dimensionals on the far left underside of the label, and adhere to the front of the folded section of the card base, as shown.
Make a bow out of the Braided Linen Trim, and adhere to the front of the label using mini glue dots.
