Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Smoky Slate Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of small gray and white plaid design from Gingham Cottage 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 3" x 4" from Highland Heather Cardstock
- 3" x 4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Basic White Cardstock
- 1" x 1-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Gingham Cottage Designer Paper to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Highland Heather rectangle and then to the front of the Smoky Slate card.
Mount the large sentiment of choice from the Framed & Festive Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Highland Heather Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 3" x 4" vertical white rectangle.
Pick out the open oval with hatch marks along the edge die from the Framed Florets Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the oval. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Leave the die out.
Note: You are using the solid sentiment oval cut out for this project. Keep the hatch marked oval frame cut out in white for use on another project.
Put the open oval with hatch marks along the edge die on top of the 3" x 4" Highland Heather rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed.
Note: You are using the hatch marked oval frame cut out in Highland Heather for this project. Keep the solid oval in Highland Heather for use on another project.
Adhere the white, solid sentiment oval cut out to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 1" from the top.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Highland Heather open oval cut out to the front of the card so it frames the solid white sentiment oval.
Pick out the medium-sized detailed snowflake die from the Chic Dies. Put it on top of the white square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the snowflake cut out to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the lower left side of the framed sentiment oval.
Put three strips of the Highland Heather washi tape from the Glitter Washi Tape horizontally across the horizontal 1" x 1-3/4" white strip so the long edges of the washi tape touch each other. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut the washi tape and trim off excess.
Pick out both tiny detailed snowflake dies from the Chic Dies. Put them both on top of the washi tape/cardstock rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the washi tape side is face up. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the washi tape snowflake cut outs to the front of the card as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one large and two small jewels from the sheet of Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere the large jewel to the center of the large detailed snowflake and the small jewels to the centers of the small washi tape snowflakes.
