Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Always Artichoke Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 3-1/2" x 5" from Always Artichoke Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Always Artichoke Cardstock
- 1-3/4" square from Always Artichoke Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Always Artichoke Cardstock
Mount the Hardwood background stamp on Block F. Leave it face up on the work surface in front of you and ink it up by pouncing or rubbing the Crumb Cake Ink Pad all over it.
Leave the inked up Hardwood stamp face up on your work surface. Carefully place the large rectangle of Crumb Cake Cardstock on the stamp. Fold the Grid Paper up and over the top of everything and rub. Using the Grid Paper protects your hands from getting ink on them.
Pick out the large flower and leaf flourish from the Flourish Thinlits. Place the large Always Artichoke rectangle (3-1/2" x 5") on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the large flourish thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Pick out the small flower and leaf flourish from the Flourish Thinlits. Place the small Always Artichoke rectangle (1-3/4" x 2-1/2") on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the small flourish thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Place the large flourish cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the large flourish cut out. Flip the large flourish cut out over and adhere it to the Hardwood stamped layer at an angle so the left flower is about 1/4" in from the left edge and the right flower is about 1/4" down from the top edge.
Use the same gluing method to apply glue to the back side of the small flourish cut out. Adhere it to the bottom right corner of the Hardwood stamped layer so the flower is pointing straight down.
Mount the "Thank You So Very Much" sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Always Artichoke Ink Pad. Stamp it on the right side of the Very Vanilla strip about 1/4" from the top.
Adhere the stamped sentiment strip to the Hardwood layer so it covers the bottom of the large flourish cut out and the top of the small flourish cut out.
Cut a 5" piece of Gold 1/8" Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the bottom of the vanilla sentiment strip. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the layers. Adhere the layers to the front of the Always Artichoke card.
Cut a 3" piece of Gold 1/8" Ribbon.
Tie it to the ribbon on the card front using a half knot so it is centered under the sentiment. Trim the ends.
Pick out the large round flower from the Flourish Thinlits. Place the larger Always Artichoke square on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the large round flower thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Pick out the medium, six-pointed flower from the Flourish Thinlits. Place the smaller Always Artichoke square on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the medium, six-pointed flower thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Add tiny dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the center of the smaller flower and adhere it to the center of the larger flower.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional in the center of the back of the flowers to adhere the flowers to the left side of the sentiment strip on the card front.
Adhere a 5/16" Gold Faceted Gem to the center of the flower.
