T he Fine Art Floral papers can be used to make stunning cards. In this card I paired the Night of Navy print with the So Saffron card base. It added enough contract to make that pretty print pop.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut So Saffron 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp Happy Birthday at lower right edge of card mat with Night of Navy ink.
Card Front: Cut So Saffron paper 2 X 5 ¼, Cut Fine Art Floral print 3 X 5 ¼
Use the curvy die to cut shaped edge to the lower edge of both of these papers.
Attach the So Saffron piece 1 ½ from top of stamped card mat. Attach the Fine Art Floral piece with dimensionals, lining it up at the top of the white card mat. Attach this piece to the So Saffron card base.
Attach 3 NIght of Navy rhinestones to left hand corner of white card mat.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
