S entimental Christmas is a nostalgic collection of print papers that does a good deed in addition to creating beautiful cards. $3 from each sale of the paper pack is donated to support children’s literacy.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Pecan Pie 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut Basic White paper 4 X 5 ¼.
Card Front: Cut Pecan Pie snowflake paper 3 ⅞ X 5 ⅛. Attach the snowflake paper to the Basic White mat. Emboss both papers with the Snowflake Sky embossing folder. Attach these embossed papers to the Pecan Pie card base.
Cut bronze Textured Metallic Specialty Paper 1 X 5 ¼.
Use a die from the Deckled Rectangle Dies to cut a rectangle from Basic White that measures approximately 2 ⅛ X 3 ½. Stamp sentiment from Festive Words stamp set with Pecan Pie ink.
Attach the stamped rectangle to the Bronze strip of paper. Attach these papers to the card front with Stampin Dimensionals.
Add 3 bronze Drusy adhesive-backed embellishments to the card front.
Card Insert: For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Basic White 4 X 5 ¼. Cut a piece of print paper used on the front of your card ½ X 4. Attach to the top of the card insert. Stamp a sentiment from the Sentimental Christmas stamp set with Pecan Pie ink before attaching this piece inside your card.
Envelope Flap: Cut Pecan Pie Snowflake print paper 2 ¼ X 6. Glue the print paper to the envelope flap and trim using the flap as a guide.
