A ll one color here makes this card stand out. Dying the Fine Tip glue makes the frosting 3-D. Add a little sparkle with glitter.
Project Recipe
Fold your 8 1/2 x 5 1/5 piece of Highland Heather in half. Corner round all square edges of Highland Heather and the TWO pieces of Whisper White 5 1/4 x 4 and the 5 1/4 x 1 piece of DSP
Stamp "Cake is the answer..." with Gorgeous Grape repeatedly on white piece. Stamping full strength and stamped off. Random is good. But you can use the Stamperatus with the step-down method if you wish.
Next, take your Highland Heather marker and using the lid and the brush tip flick dots onto the card.
Stamp the cake onto Highland Heather with Gorgeous Grape and punch out.
Stamp the base onto G. Grape with G. Grape and punch out.
Using the dyed Fine Tip Glue. (a few drops of reinker into the glue) frost your cake. I also added some to the base. While it is wet you can add Dazzle Diamonds Glitter.
Now, lay your cake on the card DON'T GLUE! Mark the top and stamp your cake topper with G. Grape ink. Now attach your cake and base with Dimensionals.
You may add glue dots to your card and then using the Take Your Pick tool and the spatula end place some DD glitter over the glue dots and smash down. Then carefully tap off extra.
Stamp words on the 5 1/4 x 4 piece of W. White with G. Grape and add DSP. Attach to inside of your card.
