Y ou can create this adorable little bag in seconds, probably with things you already have in your stamp room! I'm listed the exact things that I'm using but you can substitute for most of them.
Project Recipe
Use 2 pieces of 6X6 designer paper or cut 2 pieces from your 12X12 designer paper. This would even be cute from a brown paper bag.
If you are using a design that goes a certain direction, give thought before scoring:
Score at 3/4 inch along top edge of each piece.
At this same angle, you'll make the score for the bottom at 1.5" from opposite end. You will fold the 3/4" score outward and burnish with bone folder.
Now, turn each one and score at 1.5", 4.5"
Fold at all score lines, Snip bottom of bag as shown
Add tear and tape strips or a double sided tape as shown. I don't recommend Snail adhesive for holding anything but flat objects.
Do this only to one half of the bag and include adhesive on the bottom flap.
Peel off one side at a time and adhere over the other half of the bag til you've formed a rectangle tube, then tuck in the bottom and secure bottom flaps.
At this point, use a hole punch and cut 2 punches to the top flap on each side. (If you don't have a punch, you could use a piercing tool)
Cut 2 pieces of bakers twine...I used the festive farmhouse assortment...about 7 inches long. Knot on the inside of each hole.
