T
he fall is a wonderful time to reach out to someone you care about and let them know they're on your mind.
This card was cased from a fellow demonstrator named Bree.
Project Recipe
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Cajun Craze Card Stock (CS) (Scored at 4 1/4")
5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Pumpkin Patch CS
5 1/4" x 4" White CS (Cut 2)
Cut and score all pieces
Using the Aspen Tree Dies small leaf, cut three leaves out of the center of the Pumpkin Patch CS. Since this is used for matting, the holes will not be seen.
Run the left half of the white CS through the embossing folder. The easiest way to do this is to only place the top plate over 1/2 of the paper. See the attached photo.
Use the blending brush and the Cajun Craze ink to blend ink on the outer edges of the leaves.
I wanted to add ribbon, but didn't have the right color, so I dyed some white ribbon with Pumpkin Pie ink using the blending brush.
An alternative is to cut a thin piece of cardstock and run it through the tag.
Adhere the leaves to the embossed piece of CS. You'll want to place them so they look like they are falling from a tree.
Run the dyed ribbon through the label and adhere it on the reverse side of the embossed paper.
I added 3 champaign rhinestones to the front for a little sparkle.
Adhere the front of the card to the Pumpkin Pie CS, then adhere the entire thing to the Cajun Craze card base. Attach white card stock to the inside of the card.
Embellish as desired.
