Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 2" x 5-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Peekaboo Peach Cardstock
- 2" square from Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
- 2" square from Tranquil Tide Cardstock
Unlock the Banner Triple Punch. Slide the strip of white cardstock into the punch as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the water scribbles image from the Fabulous Flamingo Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Tranquil Tide Ink Pad and stamp it just above the notch on the white strip. Slide the stamp over and up a little bit and stamp again without re-inking.
Mount the complete flamingo image from the Fabulous Flamingo Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the banner so the flamingo's feet are in the water. The flamingo's tail will go off the left side.
Mount the solid flamingo body image from the Fabulous Flamingo Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp off on scratch paper. Stamp over the top of the previously stamped flamingo image.
Mount the outline flamingo body image from the Fabulous Flamingo Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp over the top of the previously stamped flamingo image.
Mount the outline flamingo legs image from the Fabulous Flamingo Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp over the top of the previously stamped flamingo image.
Pick out one large gold Metallic Foil Doily. Be careful, they like to stick together. Cut the doily in half. Put one half away to use on a future project.
Adhere the half doily to the back of the banner so it peeks out on the right side about 1" from the top.
Place a Striped Treat Bag on the Stampin' Trimmer so the top of the top gold stripe is on the cutting/scoring track on the Trimmer. Lightly score the top of the bag so it will be easier to fold it closed.
Fill the Striped Treat Bag with treats. These bags are food safe so you can put a cookie, candy, etc. in them as well.
Fold the top of the bag closed along the score line. If desired, put a couple of strips of Washi Tape across the folded down edges to help keep the bag closed.
Adhere the banner and doily to the front of the bag.
Cut a 15" piece of Peekaboo Peach Baker's Twine. Fold it over on itself 3 times. Lightly spray the twine with water. Tightly wrap the twine around the dowel or pencil. Heat the twine with the Heat Tool to dry it and make it curl.
Remove the twine from the dowel or pencil. Lay the twine on the top left corner of the banner and staple it in place.
Pick out the detailed leaf thinlit from the Paisley Framelits. Place the small Tranquil Tide square on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the detailed leaf thinlit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock.
Place the detailed leaf cut out upside down on one side of a Silicone Craft Sheet. Cut a Stamping Sponge into quarters and clamp the triangle edge of one quarter in a large binder clip. Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on one corner of the Silicone Craft Sheet. Dab the sponge into the glue and then lightly onto the back of the detailed leaf cut out. Flip the detailed leaf cut out over and adhere it to the center of the Lemon Lime Twist square.
Use Paper Snips to carefully cut around the edge of the Tranquil Tide leaf so you can only see the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock showing through the openings in the detailed leaf image.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the leaf to the upper left corner of the banner piece so that it hides the staple and the ends of the twine.
Mount the "Thanks" sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingo Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the strip of Peekaboo Peach Cardstock.
Pick out the small label with rounded ends framelit from the Bunch of Banners Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the label framelit on top so the sentiment is centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment cut out to the right side of the banner so it overlaps the right edge and the bottom of the doily a bit.
Adhere a small Gold Faceted Gem to the top of the leaf and to the left side of the sentiment banner.
