T his adorable treat holder is perfect for giving just a little something to your friends. It's easy to make and adapt for whatever treat you are giving.
Project Recipe
4 x 5 1/2" balmy blue
Score along 5 1/2" edge at 2, 2 9/16, 4, 9/16, 5 1/8
1 7/8 x 3 whisper white to support candy
2 x 6" Daffodil gingham dsp
1 3/4 × 3 1/8 whisper white Stitched rectangle
1 3/8 whisper white stitched circle
1 1/2 daffodil delight scalloped circle
18" ribbon
Fold score lines of box. Attach Tear&Tape to tab edge of box and adhere closed.
Punch 1/8 circle punch at center top about 1/4 inch down on both front and back of box.
Adhere dsp to box, creasing the dsp to fit, as you wrap it around. Have the edges meet and overlap at the center front of the box.
Insert the ribbon through the holes making sure that you have even tails coming out the front and back
Place the candy and candy support at the top of the box and gently push it into the box. Once candy is all the way inside, tie the ribbon into a bow.
Stamp rabbit in memento ink and color with Blends. MAKE SURE TO REPLACE CAPS AS SOON AS DONE WITH EACH COLOR!
I used:
Light Crumb cake for body
Ivory to color his nose and inside of his ears
Light Balmy Blue for jacket
Gray for the buttons
Stamp grass several times with Old Olive ink
Attach to box front with dimensionals
Stamps Easter greetings with memento ink on stitched circle.
Adhere to daffodil scalloped circle and attach to box front with dimensionals.
