Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Evening Evergreen Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the 4" x 5-1/4" white rectancle into the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the front of the Evening Evergreen card.
Make sure you have some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink. Place the 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" white rectangle vertically on the Grid Paper.
Mount the clovers image from the Etched In Nature Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the white rectangle. Stamp some of the images without re-inking the stamp. Rotate the orientation of the stamp every so often. Let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock. Let some of the images overlap.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 2-1/2" x 3-5/8". Put it on top of the clover stamped white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 2-15/16" x 4-1/8". Put it on top of the Evening Evergreen rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the clovers scalloped rectangle cut out to the center of the Evening Evergreen scalloped rectangle cut out.
Adhere the matted rectangle cut outs to the front of the card in the lower right corner so the bottom and right sides are about 3/8" from the bottom and right sides of the card.
Cut a 3-3/4" piece of Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" Reversible Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Lay the ribbon on the card front so the left edge touches the left edge of the dry embossed white layer and the bottom of the ribbon is about 1-1/4" from the bottom of the card. Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive across the ribbon in the center to hold it in place. Leave the protective backing on the adhesive for now.
Mount the "Cherish Happy Moments" sentiment from the Etched In Nature Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the remaining horizontal white rectangle.
Pick out the stitched, scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies that cuts out a scalloped rectangle that is 1-1/8" x 2-1/4". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the sentiment. Run through the machine.
Remove the protective backing from the ribbon and put some Stampin' Seal on the back of the sentiment rectangle cut out. Adhere the sentiment rectangle cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon. The left edge of the sentiment rectangle should stick out over the left edge of the matted clover rectangles a bit.
Pick out a Bumblebee Trinket. Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bee to the card front on the upper right corner of the sentiment rectangle cut out.
