T his version of a stack and shuffle uses 3 patterns of designer series paper. Quickly and easily make 3 cards!
Project Recipe
What you need:
3 pieces of Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4" x 4"
3 coordinating card bases: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2" scored
at 4 1/4"
Basic White Panel (optional): 5 1/4" x 4"
Stamp set / Dies/ Sentiments and embellishments to decorate!
Stack the 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper up and place in your trimmer landscape orientation.
Make a tic mark at the top edge of the papers at 1 1/4" and 4"
Rotate the papers completely so the opposite edge is now landscape orientation in the trimmer.
Make a tic mark at the top edge of the papers at 2" and 3 1/4"
With the Designer Series papers stacked together, place them in the trimmer so that the 1 1/4" tic mark (at the top) and the 3 1/4" tic mark (at the bottom) line up in the cutting track.
Do the same with the 4" tic mark and the 2" tic mark.
You should now have 3 piles- top pieces, middle pieces and bottom pieces.
You will shuffle your piles in this way:
Top pieces DO NOT shuffle.
Middle pieces- move the top pattern to the bottom.
Bottom pieces- move the top two patterns to the bottom.
When you lay them out to create the card fronts, you should have one piece of each pattern.
Adhere the three patterns of Designer Series paper to the front of your card bases, leaving an even border around all edges.
Tip: Adhere them in order top-middle-bottom. They should be glued right next to each other with no space in between panels.
Add Basic White sentiment panel to the inside of the card (otional)
Decorate and embellish!
