P retty birthday card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Petal Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" of rows of perfume bottles on white background design from Best Dressed 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the lines of bottles are horizontal across the vertical rectangle
- 3-3/8" square from Petal Pink Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
Adhere the piece of Best Dressed Designer Paper to the front of the Petal Pink card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the perfume bottle image from the Dressed To Impress Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Basic Gray Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower left corner of the white horizontal white rectangle.
Mount the large, wide blob image from the Dressed To Impress Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the bottom of the previously stamped perfume bottle image.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Dressed To Impress Set or Sending You Thoughts Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Petal Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the stamped white rectangle.
Use the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to paint some glitter onto the stopper, neck, and sides of the perfume bottle. Leave the center square label unglittered!
Pick out the pointed, heart lace die from the Delicate Lace Dies. Put it on top of the Petal Pink square on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool so the points almost touch the bottom edge. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Adhere the stamped and glittered white rectangle to the cut Petal Pink rectangle so the lacy part is on the bottom.
Cut a 4" piece of Mint Macaron 1/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the matted rectangle so it covers the bottom seam between the white and pink cardstock. Secure in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add SNAIL to the back of the pink rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the card so it is centered side to side and is about 3/4" from the top edge.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up a rectangular shaped gem from a sheet of Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the perfume bottle just below the word on the label.
Cut an 8" piece of the Mint Macaron 1/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon.
Tie the ribbon in a small bow and trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the bow to the ribbon already on the card front on the right side.
