D ouble Z fold for Father's Day
Project Recipe
The base of this card is dapper denim measuring 10.5cm x 28cm and scored on the long side at 7cm and 14cm.
The cross strip is also dapper denim measuring 2.5cm x 28cm, also scored at 7cm and 14cm.
Both pieces are folded using mountain and valley folds. Check diagram for visual in this.
The back panel is 13.5cm x 10.5cm in very vanilla.
Two additional pieces of very vanilla for the top half of the card measure 5cm x 6.5cm and 5cm x 13.5cm
The smaller of these two is embossed using the decorative masks and embossing paste. This has been coloured with dapper denim ink and some glitter for a little bit of sparkle.
The final piece of very vanilla is 2.5cm x 28.5cm and trimmed after attaching to the front of the card.
Two strips of dsp measuring 2cm x 28.5cm and trimmed as required, these decorate the front of the card.
I started with the top right corner of the card and then butted the other pieces up against it to ensure perfect placement.
The letters are stamped in dapper denim using the large letters stamp and dies. They are then adhered to the strip using dimensionals.
The 'fathers day' is stamped on very vanilla and adhered into a piece of acetate and then adhered to the rear of the central panel to give the appearance that it is floating.
