T he new Stampin' Up! "He's The Man" DSP comes with ephemera! The collection is so varied and versatile, that you can create a variety of cards. I chose this fancy fold to make Father's Day cards for my loved ones this year.
5 1/2" x 12" Cardstock (Scored at 2”, 4”, 8" & 10”)
5 ¼” x 4” Basic White Cardstock (Sentiment Panel)
1 ¾” x 4” DSP (Cut 2 for Front Panels)
1 ¾” x 5 ¼” DSP (Cut 4 for Inner Panels)
¾” x 8 ½” Cardstock (For Belly Band)
Cut and Score all the pieces.
Measure and mark 2 ½” from the bottom right-hand side of the card base. Cut diagonally from the mark to the 4” score line. Repeat the process on the left-hand side.
Measure and mark the front panel DSP 2 ¾” from the bottom. Cut diagonally from the mark to the top of the panel. Do the reverse on the other panel. Ensure the diagonal angles run in opposite directions.
Measure and mark the inner panel DSP 3¾” from the bottom. Cut diagonally from the mark to the top of the panel. Do the reverse on the other panel. Ensure the diagonal angles run in opposite directions. Repeat on all 4 panels.
Adhere 2 of the inner panels to the back side of the card base. Trim the angled edge if required.
Turn card base over and adhere the remaining 2 inner panels, the 2 front panels and the interior sentiment panels to the front side of the card base. Trim the angled edges if required.
Stamp, color, and embellish the sentiment panel as desired.
Wrap the belly band around the card and adhere the ends together. Slide band off and cover seam with ephemera or diecut as desired.
Slide band back on once glue is dry.
