C reate a Dino-rrific Birthday card for a special little (or BIG) boy!
Project Recipe
Mossy Meadow card base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"
Botanical Gardens Designer front layer: 4" x 5 1/4"
Mossy Meadow image layer mat: 2 1/4" x 4"
Whisper White image layer: 2" x 3 3/4"
Pear Pizzazz inside layer: 4" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White inside layer: 3 3/4" x 5"
Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry scraps to die-cut leaves
Botanical Gardens Designer Paper for envelope liner: 3" x 6"
NOTE: You will need a non-Stampin' Up! Black Sharpie or other permanent black marker for this project
Adhere Botanical Gardens front layer to card front with SNAIL.Stamp dinosaur body with Mossy Meadow ink on white image layer. Stamp dinosaur skeleton over Mossy Meadow dino body with black ink. Adhere stamped white layer to Mossy Meadow layer with SNAIL. Adhere both layers to center of card with a dimensional in each corner.
Stamp leaf lines on Pear Pizzazz scrap two times with Mossy Meadow ink. Using the Precision Base Plate on the Magnetic Platform, cut both with largest leaf die and Big Shot. Cut Mossy Meadow scrap with the fern die two times using the Precision Plate. Cut two smaller dimensional flowers from Crushed Curry scrap and Precision Plate. Adhere one of each above the dinosaur layer using dimensionals and glue dots. Color a Rhinestone Basic Jewel with a black Sharpie. Add to center of Crushed Curry flower using Paper-Piercing Tool. Save remaining leaves and flower for inside of card.
Adhere Pear Pizzazz layer inside card with SNAIL.
Stamp white inside layer with sentiments from No Bones About It and Perfect Pairings using Pear Pizzazz and black ink. Adhere inside card with SNAIL. Add remaining leaves and flower with glue dots to lower left corner. Add another black Sharpie-colored rhinestone to center of flower using a Paper-Piercing Tool.
Cut 3” x 6” of Designer Series Paper with largest Envelope Liner Thinlet. Adhere inside envelope just below the glue line using a line of SNAIL ONLY along the top edge of the liner. Fold envelope flap down to crease the liner and push it farther down into the envelope. Stamp the envelope to match your card and you are done!
