Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Bumblebee Cardstock
- 3" square from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 3" square from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 2-1/2" square from Bumblebee Cardstock
- 2" square from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 2" square from Cinnamon Cider Cardstock
- 2" square from Basic White Cardstock
Tip: You can make two cards using the circle cut outs, so you might want to cut two card bases, two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces, and two 2" squares of Basic White.
As you are ready to stamp using the Delicate Dahlias Set, place the cardstock or designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the large, outline dahlia flower image from the Delicate Dahlias Set on Block E. Ink it up using the Cinnamon Cider Ink Pad. Stamp it randomly all over the 4" x 5-1/4" Bumblebee rectangle remembering to re-ink the stamp each time. Alter the orientation of the stamp every so often and let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock.
Adhere the stamped Bumblebee rectangle to the front of the Pumpkin Pie card.
Pick out the smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a smooth circle that is 2-11/16" diameter. Put it on top of the large Pumpkin Pie square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Keep the die out.

One at a time, put the circles on the Paper Trimmer and cut them in half.
Adhere a Bumblebee half circle to a Cinnamon Cider half circle so the flat edges are along the top and the Bumblebee half circle is lined up with the left edge of the Cinnamon Cider circle.
Adhere a Pumpkin Pie half circle to the layered half circles so the flat edges are along the top and the Pumpkin Pie half circle is lined up with the left edge of the Cinnamon Cider and Bumblebee circles.
Adhere a Bumblebee half circle to a Pumpkin Pie half circle so the flat edges are along the bottom and the Bumblebee half circle is lined up with the right edge of the Pumpkin Pie circle.
Adhere a Cinnamon Cider half circle to the second set of layered half circles so the flat edges are along the bottom and the Cinnamon Cider half circle is lined up with the left edge of the Pumpkin Pie and Bumblebee circles.
WITHOUT ADHERING, lay the layered half circles on the front of the horizontal card so they are evenly spaced across the center and the ends of the Bumblebee half circles match up. When happy with placement, adhere them in place one at a time.
Cut a 5" piece of Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon so it has angled ends.
Use a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive laid horizontally across the area where the half circles meet up to adhere the ribbon piece horizontally across the card front to it hides the seams between the half circles and the flat edges of the half circles. If desired, use a Mini Glue Dot on the ends of the ribbon to help hold it in place.
Mount the "Be who you were born to be" or "Hope this card makes you smile" sentiment from the Host Only Sale-A-Bration In Your Words Stamp Set or the "thank you kindly" or "oh-so happy for you" sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias Stamp Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the white square.
Pick out the scalloped circle die from the Layering Circles Dies that cuts out a scalloped circle that is 1-1/2" diameter. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment square on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the circle as much as possible. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment circle cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the area where the half circles meet.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 5 small and large Mango Melody sequins from a sheet of Artistry Blooms Sequins making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere one large one to the front of the card on the lower right side of the sentiment circle cut out as shown. Adhere the rest randomly to the front of the card.
