I
f you thought the first two cards from Stampin' Up headquarters were awesome - wait until you take a good look at this card...
what a fantastic way to personalize your Christmas cards and this is super easy to make.
Let's get started. . .
Project Recipe
Paper:
4.25 x 5.5" Black and white photo of your choice
Vellum 4.25 x 5.5"
Whisper White 5.5 x 8.5" scored at 4.25" for card base
1. Inside the card base, stamp with Garden Green at the center top and center bottom using the straight line with the flourish stamp from the Carols of Christmas stamp set. (Wipe off the flourish part in the middle before stamping. Using just the berries stamp, ink with Cherry Cobbler and stamp between the lines at top and bottom.
2. Using the Big Shot and the card front die, lining up the edges of the die and the vellum, run it through and then put your die on the other end of the vellum and run through again.
3. On the Whisper White scrap, stamp in Garden Green the holly leaves and then the berries in Cherry Cobbler.
4. Ink up the Deck the Halls sentiment with Smokey Slate and stamp in the center of the vellum - be careful not to wiggle the stamp to avoid smudging - it is easy to do!
5. Using a sponge and some Multipurpose Glue placed on a stamp block, apply glue across the very top edge of the vellum. Be careful to get a smooth application as excess glue will show through on the vellum once dry.
6. Line the vellum up with your photo and adhere.
7. Tie a bow in the Cherry Cobbler X ribbon and adhere with a glue dot to the top of the card.
8. Do the same with the baker's twine.
You Are Done!!! Wasn't that a quick and easy card to create!
Hope you like it.
