T
his card is made with new items from the Holiday 2018 catalog from Stampin' Up!
I was looking for a rustic feel and I believe I have achieved it with this card. Isn't it stunning!
Project Recipe
Supplies and dimensions:
Dashing Deer Clear mount bundle
Whisper White CS 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4
Whisper White CS 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" for stamping
Buffalo Check Stamp
Joyous Noel Glimmer CS (Merry Merlot) 5 1/4" x 1/2"
Crumb Cake CS 3" x 4" for deer die cut
Merry Merlot CS 3 1/2" x 1/2"
Swirls and Curls embossing folder
Wood Textures DSP 4" x 5 1/4"
Snowflake from Stars & Snowflakes Wire Elements
6 " of 3/8" metallic edge ribbon
Glue dots
Snail Adhesive
Mini Dimensionsals
Stampin Dimensionals
Big Shot
Put it all together:
Adhere the wood textures dsp to front of card with snail adhesive
Take the glimmer paper and adhere down the left side of card over the wood textures dsp.
Take the buffalo check stamp and stamp it in the Merry Merlot ink and stamp onto card stock. Adhere this to bottom of card but leaving some of the wood dsp showing.
Take the strip of Merry Merlot card stock and run it through the big shot using the Swirls and Curls embossing folder. Adhere to the buffalo check leaving a small gap at the top of the buffalo check.
Stamp the Dashing Deer with Merry Merlot onto the Crumb Cake card stock and cut it out with the matching framelit using the big shot. Tie the ribbon around the neck of deer into a bow and cut off any excess. Adhere the deer with dimensionals. ( I used to mini's, one on the deer's head and the other on the rack. The rest of the deer I used the larger dimensionals.)
I took the snowflake and on each end I added a glue dot and then placed it in the top right hand corner.
