Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Fresh Fig Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
Lightly spray the Fresh Fig rectangle with water. This will help you get a deeper impression when you dry emboss it.
Insert the damp Fresh Fig rectangle into the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Use the line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line the cardstock up straight. Place the folder with the paper inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Use a Heat Tool to quickly dry the embossed Fresh Fig rectangle.
If you haven't already done so (or need to re-ink the pad), squirt some Whisper White Craft Ink Refill onto the Uninked Pad and spread it around and lightly mush it into the pad.
Lay the dry embossed Fresh Fig rectangle on some Grid Paper on your work surface. Rub the open White Craft Ink Pad lightly across the raised surfaces of the embossed Fresh Fig rectangle until you have the coverage you want.
Tip: Be careful when working with Craft Ink as it will stain clothing.
Use a Heat Tool to quickly dry the Craft Ink on the embossed Fresh Fig rectangle.
Adhere the dry, inked, embossed Fresh Fig rectangle to the front of the Garden Green card using strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive around the edges.
As you are ready to stamp using the photopolymer stamps from the Darling Label Punch Box, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "thanks" with flowers image from the Darling Label Punch Box on the block that comes in the box. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the Garden Green Cardstock. Clean the stamp with the Simply Shammy or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave the stamp on the box.
Unlock the 2" Circle Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped Garden Green Cardstock into the punch and get the "thanks" with flowers image centered in the punching area. Punch.
Re-ink the "thanks" with flowers image on the block with the Fresh Fig Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of one end of the white strip. Clean the stamp with the Simply Shammy or Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub and put it away.
Unlock the Darling Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped "thanks" with flowers image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Use the Pear Pizzazz Marker to color in the leaves on the white punch out.
Cut two 1-1/2" pieces of ribbon from the Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Velvet Ribbon so one end of each piece is cut at an angle.
Lay the colored, white punch out upside down on your work surface. Lay the two pieces of ribbon on the punch out so they overlap each other a bit and the angled ends are sticking out on the lower right side through the notched edge of the punch out.. Secure the ribbon pieces in place with a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive. Leave the protective backing in place on the adhesive.
Tip: When you turn the punch out right side up, the ribbon pieces should be sticking out on the lower left side through the notched edge of the punch out.
Put some Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the punch out. Remove the protective backings from the Dimensionals and adhere the white punch out to the center of the stamped green circle so that the leaves on both the green and white images line up.
Adhere the circle to the front of the card in the lower right corner.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 3 Rich Razzleberry pearls from a sheet of Share What You Love Artisan Pearls making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the card front.
