Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, designer paper, and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Bumblebee Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Bumblebee Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 5-1/8" of yellow dandelion weeds on dark green background design from Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper, cut so the flowers are right side up on the horizontal strip
- 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
- 2-3/8" x 4-3/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/4" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
Mount the grouping of 3 dandelion heads image from the Dandelion Wishes Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp the image on the left side of the horizontal Bumblebee rectangle so it is as close as possible to the top edge.
Mount the small bee image from the Garden Wishes Set on Block A. Ink it up with the StazOn Ink Pad or Memento Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla square.
Mount the single, more solid dandelion flower head image from the Garden Wishes Set on Block B . Ink it up with the Bumblebee Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the stamped bee image on the vanilla square. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the single, more solid dandelion flower head image on Block B with the Bumblebee Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped dandelion heads on the large Bumblebee rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Mount the grouping of floating dandelion seeds image from the Garden Wishes Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Bumblebee Ink Pad. Stamp it multiple times on the right side of the stamped Bumblebee rectangle so the top of the images is about 1-1/8" from the top edge and the left edge of the images is about 1-1/8" from the right edge. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the images go off the right edge, so make sure you have some Grid Paper on your work surface to protect it from ink.
Pick out the dotted flight pattern die from the Dandy Wishes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped Bumblebee rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the left edge of the die is about 1" from the right edge and the top of the die is about 3/4" from the top edge. The die should angle down slightly to the right and should go off the right edge and should be just above the stamped floating dandelion seeds. Run through the machine.
Note: This die just cuts the dotted flight pattern into the cardstock, it doesn't actually cut anything out.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the smaller Mossy Meadow rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the two single leaf dies and the long, skinny blown dandelion stalk die from the Dandy Wishes Dies. Put them on top of the Mossy Meadow rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Mossy Meadow (green) side is facing up and you'll cut out as much of the stem of the blown dandelion stalk as possible. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Peel the protective backing off the small leaf cut out. Adhere it to the stamped Bumblebee rectangle just below the stamped dandelion head on the left side so the tip of the leaf almost touches the left edge of the rectangle as shown.
Peel the protective backing off the large leaf cut out. Adhere it to the stamped Bumblebee rectangle so it is between the center and right stamped dandelion heads with the tip of the leaf about 1/4" from the top edge of the rectangle as shown.
Peel the protective backing off the blown dandelion stalk cut out. Adhere it to the stamped Bumblebee rectangle so the blown head is just to the right of the right stamped dandelion head and the stem goes off towards the lower left corner of the Bumblebee rectangle as shown. Trim off excess stalk if needed using Paper Snips.
Adhere the strip of Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the stamped Bumblebee rectangle so it covers all the ends of the leaf and stalk cut outs.
Cut a 6" piece of the Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon across the designer paper/stamped cardstock so it covers the seam between the two pieces. Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Bumblebee rectangle. Adhere it to the center of the large Mossy Meadow rectangle and then to the front of the Bumblebee card.
Pick out the small bee die from the Dandy Wishes Dies. Put it on top of the stamped bee image on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the image is centered in the die. Run through the tool.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the bee cut out to the front of the card so it covers the end of the dotted flight pattern.
Mount the "wishing you all the best" sentiment from the Garden Wishes Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Mossy Meadow Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla rectangle.
Put the Messages Die on top of the stamped sentiment rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the fancy label cut out three from the top in the center of the die is centered over the sentiment. Run through the tool.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon and centered below the three stamped dandelion heads.
Cut a 3" piece of the Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon piece under the ribbon already on the card on the right side of the sentiment label cut out and tie in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Carefully punch out three little heptagon shapes from a sheet of In Good Taste Elements.
Put the heptagon shapes on some Grid Paper to protect your work surface. Use the brush tip of the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends to color one flat side and the edges of all 3 heptagon shapes. Do NOT color the other flat side!
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the colored heptagon shapes to the centers of the dandelion heads.
