T his card was designed using a technique from a video presented by Lisa Curcio. I believe she called it Fancy Fold/Cutting Corners.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock 4 1/4" x 8". Score at 5 1/2"
Cut two (2) pieces of cardstock 3" x 4". One is the cardfront. The second piece is for the inside of the card.
Cut one (1) piece of coordinating card stock. (I used pieces left over from cutting the base card)
2 1/4" x 2 1/4". Cut in half on the diagonal.
Cut a 2 1/4" x 4" piece of Designer Series Paper and adhere to the front "flap"
Cut two 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 pieces of card stock. This is used for layering on the front and also inside the card.
Design the white (3" x4") card stock as desired. Add sentiment of your choice.
Attach the card front to the cardstock layer.
To adhere your card front as a rule of thumb run three rows of tape runner close together to the left side of the card front and attach to the front flap. CAUTION - Do not let any of the tape runner to go past the flap as it will glue your card pieces together.
Design the inside card piece as desired. Attach to your inside card but use care when applying. Make sure that it is directly behind your card front piece so that the inside card does not show when all pieces are in place.
Design corner piece as desired.
Place three glue dots (one in each corner) of the triangle and attach to the corner of the base card.
Your project is completed.
