M y daughter's birthday was today and she loves daisies just as I do. She was born on my birthday so we really share a lot!
Project Recipe
This card uses a base of Daffodil Delight
Put the next layers together before adhering to the base layer. Night of Navy tops the daffodil delight card base. Next is a piece of Whisper White. I cut a strip of the Delightful Daisy Designer Paper (144137) and layered it on the bottom of the whisper white piece.
I stamped the sentiment onto the far right side using the new stamp set Happy Birthday Gorgeous (143662) in Night of Navy.
I then wrapped a piece of the 1/4" Double Stitched ribbon (144116) around the layers of card front at the seam of the designer paper and the Whisper White.
The daisies were punched out of Whisper White using the Daisy punch (143713. Punch out 4 of them . I chose not to use the stamp set that comes in the Daisy Delight Suite to stamp the daisies (except for the centers) and just took some Night of Navy ink and a blender pen to add a little color to the petals (matches the designer paper). I stamped the centers with Daffodil Delight from the Daisy Delight stamp set (143669).
TIP: When you are stamping daisies and then punching them out, line up the stamp so the petals are straight up and down. It will make it much easier to line up in the punch. Line them up by turning the punch upside down so you can easily see where to punch.
I layered two of the daisies on top of each other with a glue dot and then put on the card front using dimensionals. The center of the daisies also features the new gold faceted gems (144141).
This is a quick and easy card to make.
And don't forget the inside of your card. I chose the sentiments from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and then stamped some of the little daisies in the corners.
