Project Recipe
Cut and score a thick Basic White card base. Cut on the top flap 1-1/4" in from both sides, creating side flaps. These will be glued down to the card inside, leaving only the center flap.
Cut a circle using the Layering Circle dies in the center of the center flap. Make sure you open the card before running it through the Stampin' Cut 'n Emboss Machine. I used the 3rd largest circle.
Using the same circle die, nestle it inside of the second largest scalloped circle and tape them together. Cut out a Crushed Curry scalloped ring along with the daffodil petals and petal details. Cut out the daffodil center and center detail with Very Vanilla. Cut out the smallest butterfly in So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pie.
Glue the daffodil pieces together. Add the daffodil vanilla piece using dimensionals on the outer lip and glue flat to flower at the "base" to make it appear even more 3D.
Cut 2 pieces of DSP 1" x 4" and another in the same pattern with the same circle die. Cut 2 Crushed Curry pieces 1-1/8" x 4-1/8". Glue rectangles onto outer flaps that are already glued down. Glue circle DSP to the inside of the card by closing the front flap and lining it up in the opening.
Stamp the splatter stamp off once and then onto the card center using Memento Black ink. Glue the scalloped ring around the hole. Add the daffodil with dimensionals and scatter the butterflies with glue dots.
Stamp sentiment and envelope decoration in Memento. Pinch butterfly wings so they lift off the card.
