Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Basic White Thick Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Basic White Cardstock
- 2-3/4" x 3" from Basic Black Cardstock
- 1" x 1-3/4" from Basic White Cardstock
- 7/8" x 1-5/8" from Adhesive Sheets
- 1" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
Put the 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" white rectangle inside the embossing folder included with the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder so it is centered over the heart in the center of the folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed white rectangle to the center of the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic Black rectangle and then to the front of the Basic White Thick card.
Pick out the large, open heart die from the dies included with the Bouquet Of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder. Put it on top of the 2-3/4" x 3" black rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
Adhere the black heart cut out to the center of the card so it is centered in the smooth heart embossed in the white rectangle.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets rectangle. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets rectangle to one side of the 1" x 1-3/4" white rectangle. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the "love you more than" words die from the Love You More Than Dies. Put it on top of the white rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the cardstock only side is face up and the word "love" is centered on the rectangle. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the "love" word cut out. Adhere it to the center of the heart cut out at a slight angle as shown.
Mount the butterfly image from the Daffodil Daydream Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. Stamp it on one end of the remaining white rectangle. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it again on the other end of the rectangle. Leave room between the images to cut them out with the die.
Pick out the larger, open butterfly die from the Daffodil Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped butterfly images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other butterfly image.
Tip: It is often better to cut images out with dies before spending all the time to color them in. That way if the dies slip during the cutting process, you haven't wasted a lot of time on the coloring.
Gently squeeze the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to get a little ink on the brush tip. Paint the wings of the butterfly cut outs.
Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the glittered butterfly cut outs to the front of the card at slight angles on the upper left and lower right side of the heart cut out as shown.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up one silver flower from the sheet of Flowers Trinkets making sure you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card over the end of the "e" in the "love" word cut out as shown.
Cut a 3" inch piece of the White 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at an angle on the lower left side of the heart cut out as shown.
