Project Recipe
Cut Birthday Bouquet designer Series Paper 4" X 12"
Cut a piece of watermelon wonder cardstock 2 1/2" X 5 1/4"
Score this piece of cardstock at 1/2" on all four sides
There will be 4 little squares formed by the score marks at each corner. Make a small cut on the left side of each square so that a flap is formed.
Fold on score lines and glue flaps so it looks like an open rectangular box.
Take the previously cut designer series paper and adhere a long piece of tear and tape adhesive around the top of the paper on the side you want on the OUTSIDE of the bag.
Flip the designer series paper to the other side and adhere a long strip of tear and tape adhesive on the bottom of the dsp on the side you want on the INSIDE of the bag.
Also place a piece of tear and tape adhesive along one of the short ends
Cut two strips of watermelon wonder cardstock 1/2"X12"
Cut two additional strips of watermelon wonder cardstock 3/8"X6"
Adhere one of the 12" watermelon wonder strips to the top, outside portion of the dsp.
Then, starting at the middle of the rectangular box, adhere the bottom of the dsp, going all the way around the box finally adhering the two ends together.
Use the other 12" watermelon wonder strip to go around the bottom of the dsp
Your bag is almost done!
Using a paper piercing tool, poke holes into the top of the bag and handle strip and attach using a mini silver brad
If desired, use another 12" watermelon wonder strip on the inside top of the bag to help cover the brads and give a more finished look.
Create tag by stamping the flower image from the Birthday Blooms stamp set onto whisper white cardstock. Colour as desired and punch out using 1 3/4" circle punch
Adhere to a mint macron cardstock punched out with the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch.
