Project Recipe
Cardstock to match DSP - cut 6-1/2" x 3" - score at 1/2" on all 4 sides. Trim a small triangle out of each 1/2" square. Fold and burnish on all 4 score lines. Use Liquid Mono Glue to create the base for the gift bag.
Cut your choice of Designer Series Paper (DSP) at 8-1/2" x 6”. You will need 2 pieces for each gift bag. On the 8-1/2" side, use your score blade or a pencil to mark at 4-1/4". Use the 2-1/4" Circle Punch to punch out both pieces of DSP about 2/3 way down. This will make a place to attach the handles.
Attach Tear & Tape along the bottom of 1 piece of DSP. Attach to one long side of the base. Attach Tear & Tape along the bottom and both sides of the 2nd piece of DSP. Attach on the other side of the base and attach to the 1st piece of DSP.
Cardstock to match DSP - cut 2 at 5-1/2" x 1" - apply Tear & Tape on each long side - place on the sides of the gift bag.
Cardstock to match DSP - cut 2 at 8-3/8" x 1/2" - apply Tear & Tape - place along the bottom edge of the DSP.
Cardstock to match DSP - cut 2 circle for the handles using Layering Circle Framelits - 3-1/8" and 2-5/8". Use Liquid Mono Glue to attach handle outside and inside lining them up with the circle punched out of the DSP.
Punch a Starburst circle from Whisper White Cardstock. Attach to DSP with Snail Adhesive.
Use the Big Shot and the Large Letter Framelits Dies to cut initials from the matching cardstock. Use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach over the Starburst circle.
