tampin' Up! has an AMAZING new group of products that will be available to customers starting November 3! You won't want to miss this bundle! I used three of the four new products for this card--the Curvy Christmas and Quite Curvy stamp sets, and the Curvy Dies.
Project Recipe
Spritz a 5" x 3" piece of Shimmery White Cardstock a few times on the back (to discourage curling), and on the front until it is quite wet. Starting with the lightest colour, add drops of ink refill (Balmy Blue, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Night of Navy--or similar colours) to the wet paper, using a Water Painter, until the colours blend on their own. If you don't have ink refill bottles, you can squeeze your ink pad until you get some ink on the lid, then use a wet Water Painter to pick up ink and add it to the wet paper. Set this aside to dry, or use a heat tool to speed the process.
Stamp the sentiment at the top left corner, and the trees near the bottom edge of the Shimmery White cardstock, using Memento. Position the Curvy Die below the trees and cut. Die cut a 5" x 1-1/2" piece of silver foil, close to the bottom, and match it to the shape of the watercoloured piece--be sure it is wide enough to show through the holes in the top layer. Use multipurpose liquid glue on the back of the coloured piece, and adhere to the silver piece.
Stamp the sentiment near the bottom of a 5" x 2" piece of Pacific Point cardstock, matching the sentiment with the curve of the watercolour/silver piece. Then run the piece through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine using the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.
Glue the embossed Pacific Point layer to a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock, ensuring the left, bottom, and right margins are equal. Add the watercolour/silver piece with Dimensionals, keeping the left, top, and right margins equal.
Adhere the card front to a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (scored at 4-1/4") card base. Add three rhinestones to the card.
