Project Recipe
Create a card base from Granny Apple Green cardstock by cutting the card so it is 14.8cm x 21cm and scoring at 10.5cm. On the front, mark the centre point along the bottom of the card at 7.4cm. Score between this point and the top corner on both sides.
Burnish along the score lines and fold them up. For the mats for the flaps, cut a piece of Coastal cabana cardstock measuring 9.5cm x 6.9 cm and cut it in half diagonally. Cut a piece of DSP 13.4cm x9cm and similar to the card front, mark the central point on the bottom of the long side at 6,7cm and cut from this point to the top corner on both sides. This will give you a large triangle to line the inside of the card and 2 smaller triangles to add to the mats for the outside flaps. Your DSP will have one side of the paper showing on one flap and the other side on the other flap. Stick all these layers in place and then stick the flaps together where they overlap to create a pocket.
Cut the layers for the inside of the card - a coastal cabana mat measuring 10cmx 14.4cm and a DSP mat measuring 9.5cm x 13.9cm. Sick these in place.
Stamp the cup cake onto whisper white cardstock using coastal cabana ink for the bottom, crumb cake for the centre section, melon mambo for the frosting and gorgeous grape for the sprinkles. Cut the cake out. Stick this to a Granny Apple green die cut stitched circle and coastal cabana die cut scalloped circle. Attach a swirl of granny apple green/coastal cabana ribbon across the back of the circles before sticking them in place of the front of the card using dimensionals.
Onto a whisper white die cut circle, stamp the "sprinkled with love" sentiment in coastal cabana ink, the sprinkles in gorgeous grape and the heart picks in melon mambo. Stamp 2 more hearts onto a spare piece of card and cut them out. Stick the hearts to the circle using mini dimensionals and then add a scalloped circle layer at the back die cut from coastal cabana cardstock.
Die cut a 2 1/4" wide stitched rectangle using granny apple green card. Make a mark 1" up from the bottom on both sides along the long side and another mark 1 1/4 " along on the bottom short side. Cut the card between this centre point and the 2 marks up the side to create a point. Stick a piece of ribbon to the back of the stamped circle, before attaching it to the tag with dimensionals. This is now ready to slip into the pocket.
