S oft and pretty card perfect for lots of occasions with a change of sentiment using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and vellum pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Boho Blue Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Vellum Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 4" from Copper Clay Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4" from Boho Blue Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1-1/2" x 3" from Basic White Cardstock
Insert the vwllum rectangle into the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the vellum inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed vellum rectangle to the front of the Boho Blue card.
Mount the Countryside Corners stamp on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface and press the open Boho Blue Ink Pad to the center of the stamp a couple of times to get it inky.
Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place the Boho Blue rectangle on top of the inky stamp so it covers the center of the stamp and all of the second smallest frame. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle. Set aside. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the Countryside Corners stamp on Block F by pressing the open Boho Blue Ink Pad to the center of the stamp a couple of times again to get it inky.
Leave the stamp inky rubber side up on your work surface. Carefully place one of the 1-1/2" x 3" white rectangles on top of the inky stamp so it covers the center of the stamp and all of the smallest frame. Place a piece of Grid Paper on top of the cardstock/inky rubber and rub firmly all over. Remove the Grid Paper and the inked up cardstock rectangle. Set aside.
As you are ready to stamp using the Sending Smiles Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the short sentiment of choice from the Sending Smiles Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the small frame stamped on the white cardstock.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 3/4" x 2-3/8". Put it on top of the stamped sentiment label image on the white cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Pick out the die from the Countryside Corners Dies that cuts out a label that is 1-5/16" x 2-7/8". Put it on top of the stamped label image on the blue cardstock on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine.
Cut a 4-1/4" piece of the Boho Blue 3/8" Textured Ribbon so it has a sharp angle on each end.
Put a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive horizontally across the center of the blue label cut out. Remove the protective backing and adhere the ribbon to it so it goes horizontally across the label and is centered side to side.
Adhere the blue label with ribbon attached to the front of the card in the center.
Put Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the white sentiment label cut out. Remove the protective backing and adhere it to the front of the card so it is centered over the ribbon,
One at a time, mount the single, small flower images from the Sending Smiles Set on Block A. Ink them up with the Boho Blue Ink Pad. Stamp them on either end of the remaining white rectangle. Make sure to leave room to cut them out.
Pick out the matching, open flower dies from the Sending Dies. Put them on top of the stamped images on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the images. Make sure the dies do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the flower cut outs to the front of the card as shown at the upper left and lower right corners of the white sentiment label cut out.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 medium and 1 small Lemon Lolly gem from the sheet of Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the centers of the flowers as shown.
