S
uch a cute stamp set, and, such a cute card! The stamp set is available through September 2021.
I created this card to share as my monthly Mystery Card project. I had so much fun making it, I will have another version ready for our October meeting!
Project Recipe
This Magic Box folds flat to fit into a regular envelope and it can stand up on it’s own when it is opened.
Cut Paper to Make Box
Paper: Cardstock
• One 4.x 10.5”
- Score at 2.5, 5. 7.5, 10” (dashed lines)
- Turn cardstock and score at 1.75” (dashed line)
- Cut on from edge to 1.75” score line to create box •
• Top flaps (solid lines)
- Fold on score lines
• Cut two pieces of cardstock at 1.75 x 4”
- Score at .75, 3.25”
• Fold on dashed lines, one flap forward and one
flap back (Z fold)
If you have the coordinating die set for the Counting Sheep stamp set, that's great! Use soft suede and the die cuts to create your fence and decorations.
I used an embossing folder and soft suede and cut small strips to create wooden slats for the fence and decoration.
Construction:
• Fold on score lines
• Trim ½ x 1.75” segment away from box
• Glue remaining ½” flap to create box
• Fold three 1.75 x 4” pieces on score lines
• Insert first “Z” fold piece into box; attach first flap to the inside of the box
• Uses scraps of white to stamp sheep, sentiments, and hats.
