ere is a very simple card using the new Count My Blessings STAMP SET AND THE NEW AUTUMN PAINTED DSP. When I photographed the card in it's simplest of forms, it needed something more...I dropped a lawn chair on the front and that did it! I really like the crispness of the stamps in this set.
The new Stamp set and DSP will become available on September 1st.
Project Recipe
Card base in Crumb cake 8 x 11
1st layer in Pear Pizzazz 5 1/4 x 4
I stamped around the edges of this layer with a stamp from the set
Outline layer in black 5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Top layer 5 x 3 3/4
I cut a piece of the new Painted Autumn DSP (it will be available on September 1st) 2 x 4 3/4
When I stamped the images on the front panel it need a touch of this and that. I tried to keep this card as simple as possible for brand new stampers. I made a knot from the old olive mini chevron ribbon and adhered it with glue dots. Tucked a little enamel dot in the corner and plopped a lawn chair down with snips of the foam adhesive strips to give that relaxed "I'm thinking about you" look.
Inside holds a piece of very vanilla 5 x 3 3/4 stamped in the corner with a striped strip of the reverse side of the DSP across the bottom to give it a touch of color.
There you have it...a really simple card that can be embellished and used with other stamp sets to give it that sentiment that speaks to your taste.
