Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Crushed Curry Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of large yellow gingham design from Gingham Cottage 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
Pick out one leaf label from the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack.
Rub the open Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad across the inside of the top flap (the one with the logo on it) of the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.
Insert the leaf label into the inky embossing folder. Place the folder with the leaf label inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine. Set the leaf label aside to let it dry a bit.
Tip: Clean the embossing folder when you are done by running it under water until all the ink is gone. Allow the folder to air dry.
As you are ready to stamp using the Cottage Wreaths Set, place the designer paper on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the sentiment of choice from the Cottage Wreaths Set on an appropriate size block. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it in the lower right corner of the horizontal Gingham Cottage Designer Paper rectangle so the bottom of the sentiment is in line with the bottom of one of the horizontal yellow lines.
Mount the set of three small oak leaves image from the Cottage Wreaths Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Pumpkin Pie Ink Pad. Stamp it three times in a diagonal line from the lower left corner to the upper right corner of the horizontal Gingham Cottage Designer Paper rectangle as shown. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped designer paper rectangle to the center of the Pumpkin Pie rectangle.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Gold & Vanilla 3/8" Satin-Edged Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon diagonally across the upper left corner of the cardstock/designer paper rectangle. Fold the ends of the ribbon over and secure the ribbon in place on the back with strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape pieces and add Stampin' Seal to the back of the Pumpkin Pie rectangle. Adhere the rectangle to the front of the Crushed Curry card.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the inked and textured leaf label to the front of the card at a slight angle as shown so the end of the stem is near the center of the ribbon.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Gold & Vanilla 3/8" Satin-Edged Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon already on the card front. Tie in place with a half knot so the knot is centered over the end of the leaf label stem. Trim the ends.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 small and 2 large gems from the sheet of gems included in the Leaf Label & Amber Gem Combo Pack making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them to the front of the card as shown. Make sure one of the large gems covers the hole in the tip of the leaf label.
