I was so excited to see the metallic inks in Stampin' Up's 2019 Holiday Catalogue, we now have silver, gold and copper! Today I am sharing a card using the "Stitched Stars Dies" and the copper ink as I had a lot of fun combining the stitched stars with other star dies in this beautiful large selection of dies.
Project Recipe
Using the multiple mini stars stamp from "So many Stars", stamp image with the copper metallic ink to make a background on a piece of white cardstock 5 1/4"x 4"
Using the stitched stars dies, I choose the 2nd largest stitched star die with 2nd largest star. Then place this arrangement cutting edge down on copper foil and run through your die cutting machine.
Stamp the "Joy" stamp from So many Stars Stamp Set on white cardstock and cut with the smallest oval layered oval dies and using the 2nd smallest scalloped oval on copper foil on your die cutting machine. Using a sponge dauber with copper ink, lightly dab around the edge of the white oval die.
Using the swirly stars die on copper foil, cut and use the little stars.
Even though the 2 large stars are separate dies, keep them together and place dimensionals at the tips covering both copper stars. Assemble stars on the starry background. Glue onto a whisper white card. Glue the white oval onto the copper scalloped oval and then attach with dimensionals onto the card.
