Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from So Saffron Cardstock at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored at 5-1/2"
- 2" x 5-1/4" of brushstroke yellow, pink, and light blue flowers and green foliage on dark blue background design from Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper, cut so the design is vertical on the vertical rectangle
- 1" x 3" from So Saffron Cardstock
Fold the So Saffron card on the score line to make a tent fold card.
Insert the front flap of the So Saffron card into the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder so the open end of the folder is just past the score line. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the strip of Fine Art Floral Designer Paper to the right side of the dry embossed card front leaving about 1/8" of So Saffron showing on the top, right, and bottom edges.
Unlock the Banners Pick A Punch. Slide one short edge of the So Saffron strip into the right side of the punch (the side of the punch with the inward notched top) as far as it will go. Punch.
Mount the "sometimes there are no words..." sentiment from the Comfort & Hope Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Night Of Navy Ink Pad. Stamp it on the punched strip of So Saffron so it is about 1/4" from the notch with the notch on the right side.
Secure one end of the Night Of Navy Twine from the Well Suited Twine Combo Pack to the back of the stamped sentiment strip on the flat end using a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Wrap the twine around the flat end of the sentiment strip a few times. Cut it loose from the spool and secure the end to the back of the sentiment strip with a small piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment strip with twine wrapped around it to the front of the card about 1/2" from the top edge. The left, flat edge should be about 1/4" from the left edge of the card.
Cut a 24" piece of the Night Of Navy Twine from the Well Suited Twine Combo Pack.
Fold the twine into thirds.
Tie a small bow in the center of the folded twine. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the twine bow to the front of the card at the bottom of the twine wrapped around the sentiment strip.
