T
his perky lighthouse is a new favorite of mine...love it in the red, white and blue color scheme!
Project Recipe
Begin by loading the stamparatus with the desired stamps. If using acrylic blocks go "old school" and stamp in desired order.
1) Use Blueberry Buckle clasic ink to stamp lighthouse in lower left corner of one white panel and sea gulls image above lighthouse in top left corner leaving some space from edges.
2) Use Lovely Lipstick classic ink to stamp "set sail" sentiment in top right corner of front panel.
3.) Allow a minute for the ink to dry before running it thru the High Seas embossing folder, this will give the look of subtle waves to the card.
4.) Adhere stamped white layer to the red cardstock layer.
5) Attach two small (2.5" approx) strips of thin red ribbon across bottom right corner of the embossed panel in a diagonal direction and tuck them under so the ends won't show then adhere the top panel to the front of folded Blueberry cardstock.
Part 2: inside of card
Use Blueberry ink to stamp small sailboat image in right lower corner of the 2nd piece of white cardstock.
2) Switch to Lovely Lipstick ink to stamp"let hope be your anchor" sentiment about an inch from top middle of card .
3) adhere sailboat layer to inside of card.
