B right, fall thank you card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Daffodil Delight Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" from Mango Melody Cardstock
- 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" from Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 3" x 4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Mango Melody Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
Insert the Mango Melody rectangle into the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so the lines will run horizontally across the cardstock. Use the thin line drawn on the front flap of the folder to help you line up the cardstock and get it straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside directly on your Big Shot Platform at the lowest possible setting. Place a Cutting Pad on top of the folder and run through the Big Shot.
VERY IMPORTANT: You are using only ONE Cutting Pad. If you try to use two, the sandwich will be too thick and you could damage the Big Shot.
Tear a thin strip off one long edge of the dry embossed cardstock using your fingers.
Put some strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the dry embossed and torn Mango Melody rectangle. Remove the protective backings from the Tear & Tape. Adhere the Mango Melody rectangle to the left side of the Daffodil Delight card front. Leave a bit of Daffodil Delight showing on the left side. Make sure the torn edge is on the right.
As you are ready to stamp using the Colorful Seasons Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of paper (Grid Paper works great) on top of the mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the solid, large maple leaf image from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp multiple times at different angles around the edges of the 3" x 4" white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let the images go off the top, bottom, and left side of the cardstock.
Mount the detailed, large maple leaf image from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp multiple times at different angles around the edges of the 3" x 4" white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let the images go off the top, bottom, and left side of the cardstock and overlap the previously stamped images.
Mount the solid, small maple leaf image from the Colorful Seasons Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Mango Melody Ink Pad. Stamp multiple times at different angles around the edges of the 3" x 4" white rectangle. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let the images go off the top, bottom, and left side of the cardstock and overlap the previously stamped images.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the Poppy Parade rectangle.
Mount the "thank you" image from the Detailed with Love Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it near one end in the center of the 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" white rectangle.
Mount the line of dots and tear drops from the Detailed with Love Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. Stamp it horizontally in line with the sentiment to the left of the "thank you" sentiment so a dot is close to the sentiment. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it on the other side in line with the "thank you" sentiment with a dot close to the sentiment.
Unlock the Pretty Label Punch. Holding the punch upside down so you can see the punching area, slide the stamped sentiment into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch. Leave the punch unlocked.
Slide one of the Mango Melody 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" strips into the punch. Punch. Repeat with the other 2-1/4" x 3-1/2" strip so you have two Mango Melody punch outs.
Use the Mango Melody Marker to color in the tear drop shapes bursting around the thank you sentiment.
Cut a 4" piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon.
Lay the ribbon horizontally across the back of the sentiment punch out so the ribbon is centered on the punch out. Use small strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the ribbon in place.
Put some SNAIL on one of the Mango Melody punch outs. Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape on the sentiment punch out. Adhere the Mango Melody punch out to the back of the sentiment punch out so a tiny bit shows along the top edge of the sentiment punch out.
Put some SNAIL on the other Mango Melody punch out. Adhere the Mango Melody punch out to the back of the sentiment punch out so a tiny bit shows along the bottom edge of the sentiment punch out.
Put some SNAIL Adhesive on the back of the punch outs. Adhere it to the center of the matted, stamped white rectangle. The ribbon ends should be hanging over the left and right sides of the matted, stamped white rectangle.
Flip the layers over and fold the ends of the ribbon over. Adhere the ends of the ribbon in place with pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape strips and add more SNAIL to the back of the cardstock. Adhere it to the front of the Daffodil Delight card so it overlaps the right side of the torn, dry embossed Mango Melody layer.
Cut a 3" piece of the Daffodil Delight 1/4" Double-Stitched Ribbon.
Slide one end of the ribbon under the ribbon on the card front on the left side and tie it in place using a half knot. Trim the ends.
Carefully peel up 3 rhinestones from a sheet of Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels making sure that you get the adhesive backings as well. Adhere them randomly to the stamped and matted white layer.
