T hank you cards made using new Stampin’ Up 2021-23 In-Colors and the versatile Color and Contour Bundle.
Project Recipe
Gather supplies - cardstock in the new colors - Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen. You will also need the coordinating ribbon, Stampin’ Blends, and ink pads. I made 10 cards, 2 of each color.
Score one piece of each color at 5 1/2” and cut at 4 1/4” for the 10 portrait cards.
Cut Basic White Cardstock into pieces that will go through your Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. You will be cutting 10 card fronts using the second largest Scalloped Contour Die.
Using Tuxedo Memento Black ink stamp the large flower from Color and Contour onto this cardstock. I chose to stamp at an angle, leaving room for the sentiment.
Stamp Sentiment in the same color as your cardstock. Fill in flowers with same color ink.
I colored the leaves using the light Stampin’ Blends.
Using the largest Scalloped Contour die, cut layer one from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper; adhere the background to the Cardstock.
I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets to adhere the focal piece to the front of the card - I cut 1 sheet into 4 pieces.
For the inside I cut a piece of Basic White cut at 4 1/8” X 5 3/8” and adhered a strip of DSP on the bottom. This strip is 3/4” and edged with the die from Scalloped Rectangles.
The envelope has coordinations DSP on the flap and a strip on the front, 3/4” X 5 3/4” cut edged with the die from Scalloped Contour Dies..
On the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Cards I used Genial Gems to embellish. For Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, and Evening Evergreen cards I colored the Clear Epoxy Essentials.
Add a bow in the coordination ribbon and adhere with glue dots.
