A thank you card I created for the 2nd Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, Window Sheets, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Powder Pink Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 3" of white lattice with flowers on Powder Pink background design from Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack
- 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" from Window Sheets
- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock
Mount the Marbled background on Block F. Leave the stamp rubber side up on your work surface. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad by rubbing the pad across the stamp. Leave the inked up stamp laying on your work surface inky rubber side up. Place the Crumb Cake rectangle on top. Fold the Grid Paper over the stamp and rub. Unfold the Grid Paper and carefully remove the cardstock.
Adhere the stamped Crumb Cake layer to the front of the Powder Pink card.
Adhere a Delicate White Doily to the center of the card front.
Put a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive about 2-1/2" long vertically down the center of the doily.
Cut a 13" piece of Powder Pink 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon.
Remove the protective backing from the Tear & Tape Adhesive on the card front. Lay the ribbon across the center of the doily in a zig zag so it adheres in place using the Tear & Tape. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the Coffee Cafe stamps, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large outline coffee cup image from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the rectangle of Powder Pink Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper.
Pick out the matching larger coffee cup framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped cup image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cup framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the whipped cream image from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" rectangle of Whisper White.
Pick out the matching whipped cream framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped whipped cream image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the whipped cream framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Mount the "Thanks a Latte" oval sentiment from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" rectangle of Whisper White.
Pick out the matching oval framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the corrugated cup sleeve framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the Rich Razzleberry rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the highest setting of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the corrugated cup sleeve framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock.
Pick out the domed cup lid framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the Window Sheets rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the highest setting of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the domed cup lid framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Tip: Remember where you put the domed cup lid cut out! Since it is cut from a Window Sheet it is very hard to see!
Mount the short, striped straw image from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Rich Razzleberry Ink Pad. Stamp it on the scrap of Whisper White Cardstock.
Cut out the straw image by hand using Paper Snips.
Adhere the Rich Razzleberry cup sleeve cut out to the center of the designer paper coffee cup cut out.
Pick out an oval from the Corrugated Elements. Adhere it to the center of the cup sleeve using Tear & Tape Adhesive.
Using Tear & Tape Adhesive, adhere the oval sentiment cut out to the center of the Corrugated Elements oval.
Adhere the coffee cup cut out to the bottom center of the doily on the card front.
Adhere the whipped cream cut out to the top of the coffee cup image. Try not to get adhesive along the top of the whipped cream so you can tuck the straw underneath in the next step.
Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the straw to the card front so the bottom of the straw is tucked behind the whipped cream and the top sticks out at a slight angle.
Find your Window Sheet domed cup lid cut out and put a Mini Glue Dot on the two bottom corners. Adhere the domed cup lid to the top of the cup.
