Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Melon Mambo Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 4" of multicolored dots on white background design from Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/2" square of multicolored and gold stripes design from Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper
- scrap of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock using the Coffee Cafe stamps, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Be sure to place Grid Paper between the mat and the cardstock if you will be stamping off the edges of the cardstock so that you don't get ink on the mat.
Mount the small, outline heart image on Block A. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad and stamp it randomly in the upper right corner and lower left corner on the front of the Melon Mambo card. Remember to re-ink the stamp each time. Let some of the hearts go off the edges of the card.
Tip: Be very careful when cleaning this little stamp with the Stampin' Scrub. If you scrub too hard, the stamp can come off the block and go flying! Since it is photopolymer and completely clear, it can be very difficult to find!
Pick out a large gold Metallic Foil Doily.
Wrap the Gold Metallic Thread around your fingers a few times to create loops. Cut the thread free from the spool.
Put some SNAIL on the back of the rectangle of dotted Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. Adhere the metallic thread loops to the back of the designer paper in the upper left corner (which will be the upper right corner when the paper is turned over). Adhere the doily to the back of the designer paper in the lower right corner (which will be the lower left corner when the paper is turned over).
Add some more SNAIL to the back of the designer paper and doily as needed. Adhere the designer paper/doily to the Rich Razzleberry rectangle at a slight angle.
Adhere the matted designer paper/doily to the front of the card in the center at a slight angle.
Mount the large outline coffee cup image from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large white rectangle.
Mount the "happiness is..." sentiment from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Melon Mambo Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the previously stamped cup outline.
Pick out the matching larger coffee cup framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped cup image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cup framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the cup cut out to the front of the card so it is centered from side to side and about 1/2" up from the bottom of the designer paper rectangle.
Mount the plastic lid image on Block G. Ink it up with the Powder Pink Ink Pad. Stamp it on the long, narrow strip of Whisper White.
Pick out the matching lid framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped lid image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the lid framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the tiny heart topped cup stopper framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the scrap of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock on the Precision Plate on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stopper framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Use the Die Brush to remove the pieces.
Adhere the stopper cut out to the back of the lid cut out so the stopper is centered.
Put a Mini Glue Dot on the back of the stopper and put SNAIL on the back of the cup lid and adhere them to the top of the coffee cup.
Pick out the straight-edged heart framelit from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits that cuts out a 1-1/4" wide heart. Place the striped Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper square on a Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the heart framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the heart cut out to the front of the card at an angle near the bottom of the cup image so it overlaps the gold doily on the left side a bit.
