Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Pear Pizzazz Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 2-3/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 1" x 2-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" from Whisper White Cardstock
- scrap of Garden Green Cardstock
- quarter cut from a Delicate White Doily
- 1/2" x 4-1/2" of striped white hearts on dark green background design from Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, cut so the hearts are in a horizontal row
- 3/8" x 4-3/4" of light green and white stripes design from Coffee Break Designer Series Paper, cut so the stripes are vertical
As you are ready to stamp on each piece of cardstock, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Tip: I recommend placing a piece of scratch paper on top of the Stampin' Pierce Mat before putting your cardstock on top to protect the surface of your mat from ink.
Mount the 3 coffee beans image from the Coffee Cafe Set on Block A. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad and stamp it repeatedly across the large white rectangle at an angle from the lower left corner to the upper right corner. Alter the direction of the stamp every so often and let some of the images go off the edges of the cardstock. Don't forget to re-ink the stamp each time.
Adhere the stamped white rectangle to the large Garden Green rectangle and then to the front of the Pear Pizzazz card.
Adhere the quarter of the Delicate White Doily to the center of the stamped white layer so the bottom edge is about 1-3/8" up from the bottom and the right edge is about 2" in from the right.
Adhere the striped white hearts on a dark green background strip of Coffee Break Designer Series Paper to the stamped white layer so it covers the bottom edge of the doily piece and the left edge is about 1/4" in from the left.
Adhere the light green and white stripes strip of Coffee Break Designer Series Paper so it overlaps the bottom of the previous strip by a tiny bit and the left edge sticks out by about 1/8".
Mount the cardboard cup image on Block D. Ink it up with the Early Espresso Ink Pad. Stamp in the center of the Soft Suede rectangle.
Pick out the matching smaller coffee cup framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped cup image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the cup framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the coffee cup cut out to the card front at a slight angle on the right side of the designer paper strips. Make sure the cut right edge of the doily piece is covered by the cup.
Mount the plastic lid image on Block G. Ink it up with the Pear Pizzazz Ink Pad. Stamp it on the long, narrow strip of Whisper White.
Pick out the matching lid framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped lid image on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the lid framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Pick out the tiny heart topped cup stopper framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the scrap of Garden Green Cardstock on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the stopper framelit on top. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the stopper cut out to the back of the lid cut out so the stopper is centered.
Adhere the lid with stopper to the top of the cup on the card front. You can put a Mini Glue Dot on the back of the stopper if you wish to help hold it in place.
Mount the "Thanks a Latte" sentiment oval on Block B. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the small rectangle of Whisper White.
Pick out the matching oval framelit from the Coffee Cups Framelits. Place the stamped sentiment on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the oval framelit on top so it is centered over the stamped image. Place a Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Adhere the sentiment oval to the center of the coffee cup using a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.
Pick out a medium outline heart from the Hearts & Stars Elements. Adhere it to the left side of the coffee cup image just above the designer paper at a slight angle using a Mini Glue Dot.
Tip: Use your fingernails or the tips of your Paper Snips to squish the Mini Glue Dot into a thinner line while it is still attached to the roll. Then, press the heart element to the dot and carefully peel it off the roll.
