P retty tag and decorations for a pack of paper using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- 1-1/4" x 4-1/2" from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock
- 2-1/2" x 3" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 2 pieces each 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Whisper White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 3" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- scrap of Whisper White Cardstock at least 1" square
Unlock the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the strip of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock into the punch and get it centered from side to side in the punching area. Punch.
Unlock the Ticket Tear Border Punch. Slide the flat end of the Flirty Flamingo tag into the punch until it hits the guide along the back. Punch.
Mount the "enjoy today" sentiment from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the tag.
Stack together 6" x 6" pieces of Glimmer Paper, Cardstock, or Designer Series Paper.
Cut an 18" piece of Bermuda Bay 3/8" Mini Chevron Ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the stack of paper so it crosses in the back. Tie a half knot in the ribbon on the front.
Slide the tag onto one end of the ribbon. Tie a knot in the ribbon to hold the ribbon and tag in place. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
Mount the large spotted orchid image from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block D. Ink it up with the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the large rectangle of Whisper White Cardstock. Leave the stamp on the block.
Ink up the stamp again using the Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad. Stamp the center of the flower in the center of the small scrap of Whisper White.
Mount the small spotted orchid image from the Climbing Orchid Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad and stamp it onto one of the remaining rectangles of Whisper White. Re-ink the stamp and stamp on the other rectangle of white.
Pick out the matching framelits from the Orchid Builder Framelits. Place the stamped flower images on the Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on the Big Shot. Place the matching framelits on top so they are centered. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Repeat with the second small Flirty Flamingo orchid.
Pick out the branch thinlit from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. Place the Crumb Cake rectangle on the Cutting Pad on top of the Platform on the Big Shot. Place the branch thinlit on top so you get the top of the branch where it divides into two. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot a couple of times. Use the Die Brush to remove the cardstock if needed.
Use a Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the center of the orchid cut out to the center of the big Sweet Sugarplum orchid.
Attach the branch to the back of the big orchid using a Mini Glue Dot (squish in the edges) so that the branch sticks out to the upper left side of the flower.
Put Mini Glue Dots on the ends of the branch (squish in the edges) and adhere the small orchids to them so they overlap a bit. Use another Mini Glue Dot to adhere the two flowers together where they overlap.
Put three Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the big orchid in the middle. Peel off the protective backings and adhere the orchid to the center of the pack . Try to make sure that the dimensionals adhere only to the ribbon and tag and not to the paper in the pack. Also try to leave the ends of the ribbon sticking out to the sides.
Add a medium Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the center of each of the small orchids.
