Project Recipe
Start by cutting, scoring, and building your Basic Black cs tower base. You have 4 score lines - the first is the flap that folds under and attaches to the card base to create your tower center. Use Tear & Tape on the first score line flap, fold under, and then fold the card base at third score line - so that the first flap folded under will attach to the card base.
Use the bone folder to burnish all your score marks. Cut your three Basic Black cs wing panels. Then stand your card base up and use glue to attach the wing panels.
Cut all your Designer Series Paper panel pieces. Lay out your DSP panel in pairs - one small panel & larger panel - making four piles and include your stamped labels & fussy cut Clever Cat stamp set images in the piles. Be sure if you choose to stamp on the DSP panels that you do so before gluing them to the pinwheel tower panels.
Use glue to attach all your panel piles to the pinwheel tower wing panels. I didn't use Stampin' Dimensionals to attach any of my images because it will add extra thickness to the card when folded - making it harder to fit in an envelope and mail.
For this Pinwheel Tower Card I created a back panel similar to the one on my regular cards. I did stamp the sentiment from the Frightfully Cute stamp set across the panel - and it is slightly too long and the end of the sentiment can be seen when folded - so keep that in mind when stamping on the large DSP panels. I also added Wink of Stella to the images for extra sparkle.
