Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and Adhesive Sheets pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Garden Green Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 3-7/8" square from Adhesive Sheets
- 3" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 2" from Soft Suede Cardstock
Insert the large Soft Suede rectangle into the Bark 3D Embossing Folder. Use the line printed on the front flap of the folder to make sure it is lined up straight. Place the folder with the cardstock inside on the platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and run through the machine.
Adhere the dry embossed Soft Suede rectangle to the front of the Garden Green card.
Peel the protective backing off of the Adhesive Sheets square. Adhere the Adhesive Sheets square to one side of the Garden Green rectangle in the center. Be sure to leave the other protective backing in place for now.
Pick out the large, more open pine boughs and pinecones die from the Christmas Pinecone Dies. Put it on top of the Garden Green rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the Garden Green side is facing up . Run through the machine a couple of times. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Make sure the protective backing for the Adhesive Sheet stays in place for now.
Use Paper Snips to carefully cut off some of the pine needle boughs. It's okay to leave some of the pinecones where they will be covered by the sentiment cut out and other pinecone cut outs later. Throw all the other pieces away.
Carefully remove the protective backing from the backs of the cut off pine needle boughs and adhere them to the front of the card as shown. Be careful to place any pinecones where they will be covered later by the sentiment cut out or pinecone cut outs.
Mount the "May this be a Christmas to remember & cherish" or the "Friends like you make this season special" sentiment from the Christmas To Remember Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla square.
Pick out the large label with rounded ends on two sides and flat edges on the other sides die from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on top of the stamped sentiment on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so the sentiment is centered in the die with the flat edges on the top and bottom. Run through the machine.
Adhere the sentiment label cut out to the front of the card so it is about 1/2" from the right edge and about 3/4" from the bottom edge.
Pick out the large, solid pinecone die from the Christmas Pinecone Dies. Put it on top of the small Soft Suede rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Keep the die out.
Put the large, solid pinecone die on top of the Crumb Cake rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Season Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp. Put a piece of Grid Paper on top of the Mat to protect it from ink.
Mount the smaller, more open pinecone image from the Christmas Season Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the Crumb Cake pinecone cut out. WITHOUT RE-INKING, shift the stamp slightly and stamp again. Leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the smaller, more open pinecone image on Block B with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on top of the Soft Suede pinecone cut out. WITHOUT RE-INKING, shift the stamp slightly and stamp again.
Adhere the stamped pinecone cut outs to the front of the card so they overlap each other a bit and overlap the top left side of the sentiment cut out.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of the Gold 3/8" Fine Art Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card so it covers the lower right side of the sentiment cut out.
