S crappy Slimline Card
Project Recipe
Cardstock:
Cherry Cobbler--7" x 8 1/2" scored at 3 1/2" on the 7" side, 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" (large label die)
Basic Black--3 1/4" x 8 1/4" (2)
Basic White--3" x 8" (2), 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" (small label die)
DSP strips of your choice--1/2" x 5" (the length can be various lengths.
Front Scrappy layer:
Adhere the 1/2" strips onto the Basic White in the following manner doing a few rows in this direction then changing direction up.
Pick an area to start, and angle the strips, adhering with liquid glue, let these hang over the edge, then when completed trim off excess.
Change the direction of the strips, do a few rows and change direction again until the Basic White layer is completely covered.
Trim off excess and adhere to the Basic Black then the card front.
Die cut the Cherry Cobbler Label and the Basic White label dies.
With Stampin' Write Black marker highlight on the stamp "May this be a to remember &" and with Cherry Cobbler "Christmas cherish".
Attach the Simply Elegant cord with mini glue dots to the back of the red label, and adhere with dimensional to the card front.
Add Matte Black Dots (5) randomly.
Inside:
Stamp with Cherry Cobbler the sentiment on the Basic White, Adhere to Basic Black then to the inside card base.
