Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Evening Evergreen Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" from Soft Suede Cardstock
- 3-3/8" x 4-5/8" of pine cones on light brown background design from Painted Christmas 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 1-3/8" x 4" of white pine needles on dark green background design from Painted Christmas 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper
- 2" x 2-1/2" from Basic White Cardstock
- 1-3/4" x 2-1/2" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 1-1/2" x 1-3/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
Mount the "merry christmas" or "season's greetings" sentiment from the Christmas To Remember Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it across the vertical tree rings Rings Of Love Designer Paper piece about 1-5/8" from the bottom.
Adhere the stamped Painted Christmas Designer Paper piece to the center of the Soft Suede rectangle. Then, adhere it to the front of the Evening Evergreen card in the center.
Adhere the strip of pine needles Painted Christmas Designer Paper across the front of the card horizontally about 1/2" above the stamped sentiment. It will hang over the edges of the matted Painted Christmas Designer Paper.
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Season Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the single pine needle bough image from the Christmas Season Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Evening Evergreen Ink Pad. Stamp it on one edge of the white rectangle. Re-ink the stamp and stamp it on the other edge of the white rectangle. Leave some room between the images to cut them out.
Pick out the matching, open pine needles die from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put it on top of one of the stamped pine needles on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it is centered over the image. Run through the machine. Repeat with the other pine needles image.
Mount the smaller, more solid pinecone image from the Christmas Season Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the smaller Crumb Cake rectangle.
Mount the smaller, more open pinecone image from the Christmas Season Set on Block B. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped small pinecone image.
Mount the larger, more solid pinecone image from the Christmas Season Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the larger Crumb Cake rectangle.
Mount the larger, more open pinecone image from the Christmas Season Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped large pinecone image.
Pick out the matching, open pinecone dies from the Seasonal Labels Dies. Put them on top of the stamped pinecones on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so they are centered over the pinecone images. Make sure the dies and cardstock do NOT overlap. Run through the machine.
Adhere the large pinecone cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so the bottom is near the center of the bottom of the pine needles designer paper strip.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the small pinecone cut out to the front of the card at a slight angle so it overlaps the bottom right side of the large pinecone cut out and the bottom is near the center of the bottom of the pine needles designer paper strip.
Adhere the two pine needles cut outs to the front of the card so the bottoms are tucked under the two pinecone cut outs as shown.
Cut a 4" piece of the Evening Evergreen 3/8" Windowpane Check Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the center of the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon knot to the front of the card at the base of the pinecone cut outs as shown.
