P retty 3x3" gift card made with Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock, foil sheets, and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
- 1-5/8" x 3" of pinecones, berries, and pine boughs design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1" x3" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 3/16" x 3" from Gold Foil Sheets
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "May this Christmas..." sentiment from the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink up ONLY the words "warmth & love" using the brush tip of the Real Red Marker. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the front of the gift card.
Mount the grouping of pine branches and one leaf on Block D. Ink it up only the group of pine branches that does not go over the leaf using the brush tip of the Mossy Meadow Marker. Breathe on the stamp to moisten the ink. Stamp it on the left side of the card front so the bottom edge of the pine branches is about 1-5/8" from the bottom of the card. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp the image again just to the right of the first image at a different angle.
Adhere the strip of Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the stamped card front.
Use Fine-Tip Glue Pen or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the strip of Gold Foil Sheets to the card front so it covers the top seam between the designer paper and the cardstock.
Mount the small pinecone image on Block A. Ink it up with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the Crumb Cake strip near one end. WITHOUT RE-INKING, stamp it in the center of the Crumb Cake strip. Re-ink the stamp with the Soft Suede Ink Pad. Stamp it on the other end of the Crumb Cake strip.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the pinecones by hand.
Adhere the two darker pinecones to the front of the card using SNAIL so they point up and overlap each other and the foil strip and the stamped pine boughs a bit.
Use a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to adhere the lighter pinecone to the card front so it points up and overlaps the other two pinecones, the foil strip, and the stamped pine boughs a bit.
Cut a 3-1/2" piece of Real Red 3/8" Cotton Ribbon.
Tie a half knot in the ribbon. Trim the ends.
Use a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the knotted ribbon to the front of the card at a slight angle at the bottom of the pinecones.
