P retty 3x3" gift card using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Whisper White Thick Cardstock at 3" x 6" and scored at 3"
- 1" x 3" of green swirls and red berries on white background design from Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1" x 3-1/2" from Mossy Meadow Cardstock
As you are ready to stamp using the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the "Wishing you the gifts..." sentiment from the Christmas Rose Photopolymer Set on Block B. Ink up ONLY the words "peace & joy" using the brush tip of the Mossy Meadow Marker. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the front of the gift card.
Mount the grouping of three branches of holly berries on Block B. Ink it up with the Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the card front so the tops of the branches are near the top of the gift card.
Mount the grouping of two branches of holly berries on Block B. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the card front so it fills in some of the blank area between the previously stamped Cherry Cobbler berries.
Mount the grouping of looser holly berries on Block A. Ink it up with the Poppy Parade Ink Pad. Stamp it on the left side of the card front so it fills in some of the blank area between the previously stamped Cherry Cobbler berries.
Use the fine tip of the Mossy Meadow Marker to hand draw in some branches connecting the berries.
Pick out the lace strip of diamond shapes die from the Roses Dies. Put it on top of the Mossy Meadow Cardstock on a platform on your cutting and embossing tool. Run through the tool. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip and paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces. Keep the big lace strip piece and the long, thin edge with small bumps on one side.
Adhere the long, thin edge with small bumps on one side to the back of the designer pager along one long edge so the small bumps just peek out.
Adhere the big lace strip piece to the back of the designer pager along the other long edge so the lace peeks out.
Adhere the designer paper with Mossy Meadow strips attached to the front of the gift card so the small bumps of Mossy Meadow are on the top edge and cover the bottoms of the berries. Make sure the bottoms of the lace are on the gift card. Use Paper Snips to trim off excess cardstock on the right and left edges of the card front.
